Deliverables

D1.7 Values and Ethics Handbook

Deliverable D1.7, the GreenInCities Values and Ethics Handbook, unifies European societal values across project partners. It ensures solutions prioritize sustainability, accountability, and respect for human and non-human rights, promoting harm prevention and well-being. A focus on equality and diverse representation, especially for vulnerable communities, supports the goal of building climate-resilient, community-centered urban spaces.

D7.4 Inclusivity Plan

This deliverable outlines a comprehensive framework designed to ensure inclusion, with a focus on the more vulnerable social groups, promote gender equality, and achieve social and environmental sustainability, alongside long-term benefits throughout all phases of the GreenInCities project. The plan promotes inclusive urban greening by recognising non-humans as stakeholders and applying New European Bauhaus principles and Nature-based Solutions. It provides criteria, guidelines, and engagement strategies for all project partners, including Leader and Follower cities.

D2.1 Public green space and built environment requirements framework

The Deliverable D2.1 establishes a framework to identify and ensure compliance with design, implementation, and operational requirements for urban Nature-based Solutions (NbS). It guides users on navigating global and European sustainability strategies, applying GreenInCities’ co-creation methodology, and selecting, designing, and implementing NbS. It analyses key policies like the SDGs, EU missions on climate and biodiversity, and New European Bauhaus. Factsheets accompany the GreenInCities toolkit to help cities co-create NbS that enhance societal readiness, promote urban wellbeing, and integrate advanced technologies.

D2.2 GreenInCities Sustainable Renaturing Toolbox

Deliverable D2.2, GreenInCities Sustainable Renaturing Toolbox, is a resource developed under WP2 to support urban greening efforts. The Toolbox is a dynamic tool for co-creating Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and will be refined throughout the project. It includes various tools and methodologies to assess local conditions, aid decision-making, and support replication in future urban regeneration projects. The Toolbox is divided into two categories: Quantitative Assessment – Local Diagnostic Systems, which provide data-driven insights on environmental, social, and economic factors, and Decision-making Support Systems, which help stakeholders evaluate and prioritise actions.

D2.4 GreenInCities Catalogue of Solutions, Practices and Support Systems - Initial Version

Created through six months of collaboration, it serves as a living document that will be finalised in D2.5 by December 2026. The catalogue supports co-creation within GreenInCities (WP5), enabling local citizens and decision-makers to design tailored solutions. It also encourages the replication of these solutions in future urban regeneration projects. The listed elements are provisional, incorporating both tested approaches and new ideas.

D3.1 Initial Toolbox and Methodologies for LLs towards Implementation and Twinning

This deliverable focuses on developing a comprehensive methodology to guide co-creation between Leader and Follower cities throughout the project. It includes designing a Co-Creation Methodology to support collaboration from the Co-Analysis Phase to Greening Implementation and Twinning Cycles. Additionally, it develops a Localised Participatory Methodology to tailor engagement strategies for each city. This approach strengthens collaboration, enhances knowledge exchange, and ensures effective solution twinning.

D3.3 GreenInCities LLs Governance initial report

To support identifying governance principles and mechanisms, D3.3 GreenInCities Living Labs Governance (Initial Report) provides an overview of Living Labs and their governance challenges. It discusses the innovation paradigms of open innovation and user innovation and theoretical frameworks related to organisational and project governance in LL settings. The document emphasises the importance of governance in facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders, which is crucial for the success of innovative urban solutions aimed at addressing climate change and enhancing sustainability in cities, particularly in deprived areas.
