Exploring the Birštonas pilot site

We are thrilled to share insights from a recent meeting between GreenInCities project partners from the Kaunas University of Technology and the Municipality of Birštonas. The gathering was an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and reflect on the project’s progress in the pilot site.

A key highlight of the meeting was the successful implementation of UAV-based reality capture technology which enabled an aerial view of the intervention area. This tool is enhancing our ability to monitor and develop sustainable urban spaces, aligning with GreenInCities’ goals of fostering greener, healthier, and more resilient cities.

In addition, the meeting also delved into the latest project developments and discussed upcoming opportunities within the Horizon Europe program, reaffirming the commitment to innovative urban solutions and impactful collaborations.

Stay tuned for more updates!
